A water mark on a mirror is an inconvenient and unappealing sight in a home or car. Using glass cleaners on a watermark will only waste your time and money. Vinegar is a great cleaner for glass or mirrors. It can powerfully absorb things that can cause staining, and its cleaning power can eliminate most stains. A rag, a little water and a bottle of regular vinegar is all you will need to succeed in getting rid of the water stains on your mirrors.

Step 1

Wipe down the surface of the mirror with a wet rag. This will remove any dirt or grime on the mirror's surface.

Step 2

Put some vinegar on your rag. Use a generous amount. In this project, more is better.

Step 3

Wipe the stained spot on the mirror with the vinegar-soaked rag. Apply slight pressure, as it does take a little force to make the spot come out.

Tip

You will probably have to repeat the steps about three to five times to remove the spot.
