Hi, my name is Michael Weisner. I'm an animator, illustrator and graphic designer and today I'm going to give you some quick tips on how to draw a car in 3D. Let's get started. Now, because of the high detail of this vehicle, it's not a bad idea to do a presketch and use source material to do the research for this subject. Alright guys, to begin with drawing our 3D car, you want to first start off with circles or boxes. I'm going to use circles because this is going to be a very simple looking car. So I'll first start with the circle up front. It's a little oval shape and then I'm going to draw another circle right next to it, much larger, then I'm going to add another circle to the back. And this can be easily set up as the hood, driver and rear. Now that we've got it set up like this, then add a little wheel right here which is the cylinder, then draw a line right across, add another cylinder, same as with the back, draw a little circle, add a line. This will create a cylinder. You're starting to see this sort of come out as a car. Now that we've got this roughed out, we can start adding our details and fine tuning it a bit more to look more and more like a car. So I'm going to add thicker lines, bring it out more, draw out the hood, across, draw out our forward mirror, the side of the car, the rear view mirror here, rear view there, draw out the hood of it, add driver's lights and then there you go. That's the basic concept to draw a car in 3D. And those were some steps on how to draw a car in 3D. Hope you enjoyed. See you next time.
