"Hi my name is Sunshine with Sunshine Safety. I am located here in Snellville, Georgia. I have been involved in the health and safety business for approximately 15 years. I started out as a lifeguard and eventually became an instructor. Today we're going to learn how to wrap a wrist with an Ace bandage. The individual can have their wrist in a neutral position and starting above the site of the injury just begin wrapping the entire wrist and I would include the hand. When your Ace bandage is finished, simply secure the Ace bandage to the wrist with pins. Once again you want to check to make sure that the victim still has feeling and warmth in their fingers and also that the victim is able to wiggle their fingers without pain to know it is not too tight. I would always include the hand when you are wrapping the wrist only because it gives a little bit more support with the wrap and adds a little bit more support to the victim's wrist."
