"Hi, this is Nathan Morgan, with partspeople.com. In this video, I'm going to show you how to replace your power supply in your laptop. This is quite easy on laptops. Luckily, these things are external, so all you'll need to do is just go to your manufacturer and buy the correct one. One thing you want to be very careful of is to replace it with the same amperage and voltage as the original one. The best way to do this is to actually purchase one from your manufacturer. Sometimes, replacing your AC adapter will not resolve the problem, and what this usually means is that your DC jack inside the laptop has been damaged and needs to be replaced. This is something that needs to be done by a trained professional. It needs to be soldered on, so do not try to attempt this yourself. And that's how you replace the power supply in your laptop. It's quite easy. This is Nathan Morgan, with partspeople.com."
