Hi, my name is Tanya Batts and I'm a personal trainer at Gold's Gym. I want to show you just an easier way to do pushups. So come on down on the floor. So here is the absolute easiest way to do a pushup. Hands under shoulders, knees directly below your hips. All you want to do is this, lower and lift. That is the easiest way to do a pushup. That's like level 0. Let's go a little harder but still easier. Send the knees back a little so you are long from the crown of the head right up through the knees. So the butt is a little high, lower it. Hands under shoulders, abs are in. You want to inhale as you lower and exhale as you lift. We're just breathing, inhale and exhale. You can even adjust the hands to work a different part of the arm, still easy. So feel free to have the knees directly under the hips as you do these exercises, hands can be little wide but that's the easiest way to start or the knees back. So it's completely up to you. So those are just a few ways you can just start with the easier pushup then move on to the harder ones. It's just a great way to work yourself up to the next level.
