"People moving around the way they do now a days it's not unusual for someone to lose a title. We always make sure that we have the legal authorized signor be present in front of our notary public. I think now a days it's just very important that you make sure you dot the I's and cross the T's. You'll definitely want to have the title holder present, the individual that owns the car. And their signatures will have to be witnessed on the title. Well if you don't happen to have your title with you and it is titled in someone else's name we can still work with the trade and have the owner of the vehicle come later and sign the title off. And when you're dealing with younger individuals it's important to know that you don't need to sell to anyone who's under 18 years of age. That contract is voidable by the minor but is enforceable by them as well. So they could any time bring the vehicle back and make you buy the vehicle back."
