"Hi. I'm Kelli. I'm an aesthetician and makeup artist at Ulta Salon and Cosmetics. And I'm going to talk to you about different colors that go with different complexions. If you look at a color wheel, has basically anything from your yellow over to your red is going to be more of your warm undertones. And anything from your yellow-green over to your violet is going to be more of your cool undertones. So going back to your warm undertones consist more of golden undertones. And your cool undertones consist more of your pink undertones. A good way to decide what type of colors you want to wear for eye shadow and lipstick and that type of thing- if you have green eyes; red is a complimentary color to green; so that's what you would want to, not necessarily wear red eye shadow, but you would want to wear something in that family, such as pinks or plums will look really great on green eyes. Orange is a complimentary color to blue. So if you choose things that have more of a tawny look to them or more gold-based peaches, stuff like that looks really great on blue eyes. And then, if you go to your brown eyes can wear almost anything, depending on what your complexion is; whether you have warm undertones or cool undertones. And then you have your hazel eyes, which usually are green with some jewel tone in them. So you can use colors that have more like gold or jewel tone flecks in them. So those are some examples of some colors that you could use with your different complexions."
