"How to care for a gray tree frog. Caring for a gray tree frog is pretty easy. You've just got to be disciplined about it. We just have our little enclosure here, we made in our earlier video. You can see our little gray tree frog hanging out in there. Basically, what you have to do,is on a daily basis, you want to check the moisture level in there. Make sure it's nice and humid for him. Again, tree frogs, and frogs in general, don't drink water. They absorb it through their skin, so that's why we're not worried about having a water bowl in there. What we are going to do, is on a daily basis, is just take that out,and we can mist down the bedding, so that it's nice and moist. Now, you kind of want to let that dry out in between mistings, so if you're misting it, and in one day it's not drying out, you may be misting it a little bit too much, or you need to give it more time, in between mistings. It does need to dry out every couple of days, in order to stop any kind of bacterial growth. Another thing we can do, we can actually mist right up into here, for him, to give him a little bit of misting. Be aware that if you're doing that, and you have hard water, lots of minerals in it, you can cause mineral deposits on your Plexiglas, and then you have to go in there and scrub it out and stuff, so that can be kind of annoying, so that's kind of your daily maintenance, and then once every couple of days, you can drop a cricket in there for him. Make sure the cricket is appropriately sized. You never want to feed a feeder animal to a frog, that is bigger than the space between his eyes, so for that guy, that means no bigger than that or so, so we're looking at like half inch crickets, or quarter inch crickets, for this little guy, and one to two every three to four days, is just fine for him, as far as upkeep away, and he will be more than happy in there, and you'll have a nice little frog, to keep on your desk."
