"Let's talk about what what flea bites look like. The interesting thing about that is you may not be able to see flea bites. Fleas are very, very small, and dogs that are not hypersensitive, who are allergic to flea bites, you may not even see a flea bite. If you do, it would be a tiny, small, red dot. An animal or pet that is allergic to flea bites, generally, have an allergic reaction to that, by that what you would see would be, large amount of redness, itching at that area, and actually, pustules, which are little pimples, if you will, in those areas. And that's just an allergic response to those fleas. So, seeing flea bites is sometimes, a difficult thing, but how can you see if there's any evidence for fleas, the best thing to do is use a flea comb, and these flea combs have a very small fine tooth on them so you can, basically, comb your pet, and look for flea evidence, flea dirt, which is essentially, flea feces, and that will give you an indication that fleas are present."
