"Hi, I'm Amelia and I'm going to talk to you about how to grow longer hair. There are a lot of myths out there that if you apply carrot oil or you know, bury hair under the light of the full moon, stuff like that, that your hair's going to grow faster. It's not. The average hair growth is at a half inch a month. It cannot grow any faster by doing anything. If you take vitamins like biotin, your B vitamins, anything like that, that may help because as your stress levels increase, your B vitamins decrease, your body doesn't actually produce B vitamins. It's something that we get from the food we take. So we really need to, if we're under a lot of stress, take our B vitamins because B vitamins is what helps the hair growth and all of that. Other than that, that's really all there is you can do. You can eat well, sleep well, you can exercise, take good care of yourself, but nothing is going to make your hair grow faster. That's something that's genetically input in you and that's pretty much about it. Also you're going to want to trim your hair. Trim your hair on a regular basis because if you don't trim it, the ends will actually just break off. I'm sure you've seen those women who've got hair down to their butt and about half inch of it looks like it's all broken off. That hair's not healthy, it needs to come off. It's, there's really no need for it to even be on the head because it's not doing anything any good. If you don't trim your hair just like a string, it's going to continue to unravel all the way up and you'll get scraggly ends. So make sure that if you're growing it out, you can stretch it out to every eight maybe twelve or even every six months to get it cut if you're not doing a lot of styling your hair. If you're doing styling, you're going to want to go every eight to twelve weeks. And I wouldn't go every four to six because then you'll be cutting off everything that grew. And just remember that it grows a half inch a month, so when you do get it trimmed, do less than a half an inch, take good care of it, eat, sleep, take your vitamins, and your hair will grow healthy."
