"Hi I'm Amelia and I'm going to show you how to use wild hair colors to dye your hair. When choosing a color you want to make sure that of course it looks best on you, I've got a red and pink here and you always want to pre-lighten your hair first because if you just put it on dark hair you're not going to see it. So what I mean by pre-lighten is you're going to want to bring that hair up to a light blond, then 'cause it's basically like putting pink on white if you pink on white it's going to make it a lighter pink so you want this hair as light as possible so you can get that really vibrant color. Then what you're going to do is just put it in a bowl or use your hands with the gloves I highly recommend using gloves and just put it on, you can sit under heat and what that will do you want to make sure that you wear plastic over your hair when you're doing that, what that will do is that will swell the cuticle and help get that semi-permanent color into the hair a little bit more but this does shampoo out rather quickly so you're going to want to redo it at least once a week so it is high maintenance. So this is what it looks like a pink on blond hair and this is what a red looks like on blond hair as well. So you can see that they are very intense, but like I said they will come right out in the shower, so you're going to want to use a shampoo that is definitely color safe you can even put some of this in the shower and just shampoo this in it will make a mess in shower so be sure to spray it down with some bleach or something afterwards because these will stain tile and anything porous, but Manic Panic the Special Effects the Paul Mitchell Ink Works all of these are great things that you can use to get these bright vibrant colors into your hair."
