"Hello. My name is Luis Estrada and I'm a software developer. In this video, I'll show you how to manage file type associations in Firefox. Firefox is a registered trademark of Mozilla, a company to which I have no affiliation. You can tell Firefox what to do with different types of files. For example, you can configure Firefox to start playing MP3 files with the program of your choice. To download them to your hard drive or to ask what to do with that file every time you click on an MP3 link. To configure this, click on the the Tools tab, then Options. Choose Applications. Here is a list of all file types that Firefox recognizes. Find, for example, the MP3 option by typing "MP3" in the search field. On the drop-down list to the right, you tell Firefox whether you want to save the file or use Windows Media Player or QuickTime to play it. Also, you can choose the Always Ask option. When you choose the Use Other option, Firefox displays a list of other programs that can manage the file. For example, you could have your MP3 files played by RealPlayer. When you finish making the changes, just click OK to return to the browser. I'm Luis Estrada and I've just shown you how to use your web browser."
