"Hi, Michael Burton with Michael Burton films.org located in Salt Lake City, Utah. We're here talking about Microsoft Windows. Now I want to talk to you about how to set up a wireless network on your computer by running through the wireless network set up Wizard. Let me start out by saying that Windows XP is a registered trademark of Microsoft and I am in no way affiliated with Microsoft. The wireless network set up wizard is located under your control panel. Scroll down to your start menu, bring up your start menu. Go over here to where it says control panel, left click, open up your control panel. You will find it under network and Internet connections. So you see here we've got a bunch of different options. Scroll up to network and Internet connections. Open that. Right here it gives you a couple different options. Set up or change your Internet connection. Change the connection to the network at your workplace. Set up or change your home or small office network or set up a wireless network for a home of small office. That is what we are going to want to do. There is that option but you can also scroll down to the very bottom and it says wireless network setup wizard. That is our shortcut to get there. Go ahead and click on that. Now this brings up our wireless network set up wizard. All you have to do is follow the instructions and it is very simple. Click the next button. This will ask you for your network name. The network name for our network here is the Goms Family Network, so we will type in Goms Family Network and then automatically it will assign a network key. Go ahead and click next. You can set up the network manually or you can use a flash drive. If you set the network manually and you click next it is going to ask you to go to each computer with the flash drive and complete the same wizard. We are going to go ahead and click finish because we are not setting up a wireless network on this computer. If you were setting up your wireless network, just follow the instruction for the wizards and it will walk you through all the steps that you need to. You have got to do that on every single computer on your network in order for your computer to work on the network."
