"Depending on where you're going or the size of your iPod you may not want to take all the songs that you have or your collection is just that vast. Hi I'm Rokosz your digital lifestyle expert and I'm going to show you how to put just your selected songs into your iPod. Well the first thing you need to do is you need to keep in mind that iTunes is the gateway to your iPod. So you want to make sure that you connect your iPod up to it. You just put in the connector that comes with it and plug it into the USB port. And launch your iTunes. And then here you're going to see under devices that this is the iPod we're working with right here. And now here you've got the chance to put in your summary, your music, your movies, your t.v. shows. Or put it in your summary, that tells you a little bit about what's going on with it. But we're going to navigate over here to music and in this case we've got, under sync music, you can decide not to sync music at all. I don't know why you'd want to do that, maybe you just had videos or had to conserve space, but once you check off sync music you go from all songs and playlists down here to selected playlists okay? And now here you can choose which ones. I like 90's music, I don't want my music videos, and of course I always want my top rated. Okay that's well and good, but what's in those playlists? In which case you would actually navigate down here you'll notice that your playlists are also listed right here. Handily, I should say, underneath your playlist area. And you go over to your 90's music and you can see, okay we don't want to apply that right now, alright I've got nothing under that one there. And then my top rated, I don't have anything there too. So what we want to do is go to my music library, and go into this view here. Let's say I want Eggman, all I'm going to do is drag and drop it right in to 90's music. We're going to do here 3 Minute Rule, we're going to drag and drop that right here in to 90's music. I want Car Thief, but I want that down here in my top rated okay? Can't do that because you've got to make it a top rated song. And in which case there you may see it pop-up by itself okay? So when we're done we choose our devices again over here. There's our iPod, sync selected playlists 90's music, my top rated, click apply. And now my 90's music and my top rated things transferred only those directly to my iPod. I'm Rokosz your digital lifestyle experts saying Stream You Later!"
