"Hi, this Rachael Richardson, with Nutrolution in South Beach Miami, Florida. In this clip we're talking about how to lose water weight. Now actually I've worked with lots of obese patients. Some that are very obese and some that are less. And I've seen people lose up to even something around twenty pounds in just a matter of a few days or a week, all from water. So water can actually make up a lot your excess body weight. A couple of really important things that you need to remember to lose that excess body weight, is number one to drink enough water. If you're not drinking enough water, and I have mine right here with me, then your body might be tricked into thinking that it's not going to get any water later, and therefore hold onto more water then it actually needs at any given time. The other thing when you're initially trying to lose water weight is to reduce both sodium from your diet as well as carbohydrates and especially your process carbohydrates and simple sugars from your diet. Because both sodium and carbohydrates are molecules that attract water. So when you have more in your bloodstream, the water sticks around. This is Rachael Richardson, and this has been how to lose water weight."
