"Hi and welcome. My name is Sylvia Russell, and today I'm going to show you how you can lighten your hair using hydrogen peroxide. Now you ask yourself, hydrogen peroxide? This is something I keep in my kitchen cabinet, or my medicine cabinet. Well, yes it is. So what you want to do is take these steps down because you want to be very careful. You're going to mix 50% hydrogen peroxide to 50% water. And put it in a spray bottle. You might have something like this at home. You can put it in a squeeze bottle. Also, you want to make sure, use a towel, because we don't want you dripping all over the place. Now remember, only leave it in for ten or fifteen minutes. Rinse it very well and follow up with a conditioning shampoo and also a good conditioner. Now you may have to repeat this process a couple times to get the desired look. Now listen, hydrogen peroxide would not be my first choice because I'm a professional stylist, but for all of you viewers at home, you want to make sure that you take precaution. The color may not come out like you want, and if this is the case, hop into your local stylist and see if she can help you achieve the color that you want. Until then, happy coloring. My name is Sylvia, and this is how you can lighten your hair with hydrogen peroxide."
