"Oh, we're going to get all these split ends off and then your hair will be healthy and it won't tangle. Hey. Thanks for joining us. My name is Sylvia Russell and today we're going to show you how to prevent split ends. First thing is first, you want to analyze the hair making sure that your ends are not dry and brittle. If you find that they are, the best solution for dry split ends is to trim them. So you simply take a part of the hair, like so, comb it out so that you can see all of the hair and slowly trim your ends. This is just tipping the very bottom of the hair shaft. Now if we don't remove the split ends what will happen is they will begin to travel up the hair shaft, thus causing more damage, and after all it will break your hair. So the first thing you want to do is always shampoo with a great moisturizing shampoo conditioner. Also, check your ends on a regular basis. If you see them getting dry and frizzy, then it might be something you're doing at home. Everyday brushing and combing can cause problems to your ends. So to alleviate those problems sometimes using a spray in conditioner or a silk is good for the hair. Also, what you can do is you can use a foam to help wrap your hair at night and lay the ends down so you don't have to curl your hair in the morning. Remember the best possible way to take care of your split ends is by visiting your local professional, but if you have to do it at home, always remember that less is more. The less you take off, the more hair you have. Don't be afraid to trim your split ends. Trimming your split ends will help you have healthy, bouncy and beautiful hair. So, we got all of her ends off. Glad you were able to make it. Hope you trim your split ends. My name is Sylvia Russell, and see you next time."
