"O.k. now that I have my bobbin wound, I got all my supplies out and I actually flip these pants out because I'm going to mark on the inside of the leg only not on the outside. I'm going to show you how to mark the three and half inches that I want to take off. So what, what I want to do is we want to leave this entire hem here and I want to start marking from right here at the edge as close as I can get because my sewing machine is actually going to sew right next to this. You might be able to get right on it so maybe you want to start out maybe just a little bit, maybe less than a eighth of an inch and I'm going to mark, I'm already going to mark it there because I know where, I'm going to mark three and half inches up from the very bottom of the hem. There we go. O.k. that's one side. I'm going to flip it over to the other side and mark this one and...a lot of these pants you might need to take out a lot more if you needed to take out say like five inches and its going to be a lot of fabric on the inside. I'm going to show you how to cut the fabric off on the net leg but on this leg I'm going to just show you how to pinch it up and tack it up but sometimes when you pinch it up and theirs a lot of fabric left over like, say something like more than four inches, it would be a lot of fabric around the inside of the leg and you would have to cut the fabric off and tack it up or glue it up which ever you prefer but on this leg it's only, it's going to be one and three quarters of an inch to take up and it's only this much. So what I"m going to do is just tack it up but like I said on the next leg even though I don't have to cut it I'll cut it on the next one and show you how you would do that if you had to take out a whole bunch of fabric. So, in the next clip I want to show you how to pin this so you can get started sewing it."
