Showing Appreciation for a Pastor

"I want to talk to you about how to show appreciation for a Pastor. You know, Pastors are the one that God has sent to rule over us. Now in a Godly way, but they're sent to lead us and to instruct us in the ways we are to go in our Christian walk, and they deserve honor too. They deserve to be appreciated too and so one of the ways we can appreciate our Pastors is by throwing an Appreciation Banquet. You know, give an opportunity for people to come up and people to share the ways and the things that the Pastor has done to influence their lives. You know, everyone loves to, to hear of the impact that they're having in someone else's life. And so an Appreciation Banquet would be an opportunity for members of the congregation to do just that. To show their appreciation for their Pastor. I guarantee you it is a day that he or she will never forget because, everyone loves to be honored in a special way. And another way as I've just mentioned previously here is receiving an offering. You know, money does not rule everything, and it doesn't make the world go around. But, it's sure nice to receive, and everyone loves to receive gifts and likewise, Pastors do. I think one of the ways that we can appreciate him, or her, the most, is by giving of those things that we work for. The monetary things and those things that, that we put effort for. So it's really showing that you care a lot when you give something that you've worked hard for, and so that's why it's important to give offerings to our Pastors. So, that's one of the ways we can really appreciate the man or the woman that God has put over us."
