"Hi. My name is Dave Andrews. Today I'm going to talk to you about laptop cooling fans. As you're using your laptop you might notice that the bottom gets extremely hot sometimes. And that's because the fan in the laptop might not be doing a very good job of sucking the air out from the inside of the laptop, and getting that hot air out basically, so cooler air can come in, and cool the insides of the laptop. There's several things you can do about this problem. One of them is to go out and purchase what's called a laptop cooling pad. And I'm going to show your one here on my computer. This is a laptop cooling pad. As you can see it has a metal surface, and metal can be very effective at sucking heat off of the bottom of your laptop. That's kind of how the heatsinks work when they're on top of the processor. Just the fact that the metal is touching the metal will cause the heat to, basically through a conductive type of thing like you get with electricity, it pulls the heat out. And this one has a fan built-in to the middle of it which is very important, because that fan is then going to pull in cooler air from around the laptop, circulate it around the bottom of the laptop, and kind of inside of it also through the grate holes on the bottom of your laptop. And that will get the, get cooler air inside, and that will help to cool down your laptop. So it's fans like these that keep that circulation going and keep your laptop cool. My name is Dave Andrews, and I just talked to you about laptop cooling fans."
