"Once you've figured out your stance and how to push, the next part is just to enjoy it and ride the board around. Just aim your front foot forward, just cruise around. Once you've got pushing regular down you may be able to spin it around and try pushing the other way. But the important thing that you never want to do is start the cruise pushing around mongo which is pushing with your front foot cause that will totally throw your direction off and send you in all sorts of places you don't want to go. Because remember as I said in the first series, aiming your front foot is pretty much the determining factor in the direction that you're going to go in. So when you push mongo like this and aim with your back foot as soon as you aim back on the board you might be able to go in the direction you want to go in but more often than not it will send you somewhere that you don't want to go. But, well, just cruise around get a feel for your board, feel for the ground before you start trying tricks and from here you can just move forward."
