"One of the most important parts of Arnold Palmer's stance is the fact that he stands far from the ball because as an arm swinger and standing fairly upright. If you stand close, it's a completely different type of arm swing. And one where it's hard to get a lot of pure power from your arm. But if you're farther away, you could get so much more power. In baseball your arms are not close to you. They're farther from you, farther away which leads to a flatter swing lower to the ground. If your arms are close, then you use them it's up and up and not quite as strong. If you're out here, that's strong. That's baseball. That's an ax, and that's what Arnold Palmer did. He stood far from the ball which allowed him to swing flatter, stronger. This is stronger than this. So if you are an arm swinger and you'd like to try an Arnold Palmer type hand action, arm action, body action, it all starts with the distance you are from the ball. So he was far which allowed him to swing strong and flat and low. If you're an arm strength swinger, stand farther from the ball. You will be stronger."
