"What causes fibromyalgia? That is probably one of the best questions of this decade. Conventional medicine has difficulty pinpointing what causes fibromyalgia. It is such a large group of symptoms. They do know what makes the symptoms better or worse. They use medication, behavioral modification, they've found links to the central nervous system that effect the muscles and the joints in the pinpoint areas that are diagnostic in determining if the patient has this disease. Fibromyalgia can be increased by stress. Our patients have noticed that the fibromyalgia started after a motor-vehicle accident, after repeated surgeries, they noticed that they had aches and pains that didn't go away. This may be common in other patients as well. We have found differences if we help remove the toxic elements from medications and from toxins in their environment so that they consume lots of water, high fiber foods, and it decreases their pain in their muscles and their joints."
