"Dreaming of becoming an event coordinator? Well, I did too once. So let's make your dream a reality like I did with mine. Hi my name is Jena Hartman owner of PromoZone Live an agency here in Tampa, Florida. As a promoter myself and as an event coordinator I want to give you a few key steps in becoming an event coordinator. First and foremost you want to get experience. You want to get your feet wet in the industry if you haven't already. Internships are key and remember you do not have to have a degree a bachelors or associates in event coordination. But it is beneficial if you do, it's an extra plus on that resume. In addition you want to make sure that you network with other event coordinators and see if there is any associations out there you an become a part of as far as, as well as chamber of commerce and local networking groups. Because it's always good to get the ins and outs, and positives and negatives from other individuals in the industry of event coordination. My name is Jena Hartman owner of PromoZone Live here in Tampa, Florida and that was how to become an event coordinator."
