Symptoms of viral encephalitis. This is an inflammation of the brain; some of the symptoms would include fever, headache, poor appetite, loss of energy and a generalize sick feeling. That in itself is, doesn't may, may not be remarkable because other things could also present with these types of symptoms. These are just the ones that you might see in a less sever cases. In reporting these, we found that many of them are not reported to the central system that records this type of data because it's so general. However, when the severe cases, that those get more, they're more reportable apparently because they are more severe. People with severe encephalitis may suffer with headaches, severe headaches, nausea and vomiting, a stiff neck, confuse, disorientations, seizures and memory loss, coma and dizziness. So you can see the difference between the less severe and the severe and so these are some of the symptoms of viral encephalitis.
