Video Transcript

"Hello, my name is Dr. Sian Evans. I'm a scientist at Monkey Jungle in Miami, Florida. In this clip, we're going to talk about different kinds of monkeys. There are basically two kinds of monkeys, new world monkeys and old world monkeys. New world monkeys are found in Central and South America and old world monkeys are found in Africa and Asia. Monkeys range in size from very tiny pygmy marmosets to the largest, which are male mandrels with their magnificent colored faces. Mah, monkeys usually live in complex, social groups. There may be family groups, there may be one male with several females and their offspring, or there may be many males and many females together. They can live in the trees and they can live on the ground. Most of them live in rainforest's but some of them live in the snowy parts of Japan and others in the mountains of India. Monkey's are varied and wonderful. This has been Dr. Sian Evans."
