Hi, my name is Mark and we're going to look at sales manager tips. As a sales manager, your responsibility is to ensure that your colleagues, your sales team are effective, as you are the one who is responsible for their tactics, their daily program. And, of course, at the end of the day, their sales numbers, their sales figures. Therefore, it's really important that you ensure that they are taking care of the basics, and that really is, that when you think about it, sales is about communication. People buy people, not things. And therefore, their people skills, their communication skills are, one and truly, honed. They have obviously good product knowledge. They understand what it is they're selling. And they can assess how what it is they're selling is suited to their potential customer. So for this, they need to have very good listening skills. They should be listening to what the potential customer is telling them. They should be strong in terms of interconnection, in terms of communication. That they understand, show an understanding of what the person is looking for, and how best the companies productial services can fit with their needs. That their physical, their body presence, body language is positive. That they are actually showing a positive gesture towards the customer rather than a closed one. They, after all, want to encourage the potential customer to purchase. Obviously, you want the customer to come back time and time again, and therefore it's really important that whatever the situation is, that your salespeople are engaging in a positive dialog with these potential customers. And even if they don't buy it there and then, they will potentially be a buyer at some point later on in the stage, and therefore, the relationship building must be developed by these people. So if I was to give some tips, those would be the key areas that I would focus on.
