"This is financial advisor, Patrick Munro, talking about how to save money at the grocery store. Well, saving money at the grocery store is a challenge, but most often it's met with the best route to go. Don't go to the grocery store hungry. Always go with a pre-prepared list of what you wish to purchase. Make sure you belong to the frequent club at each grocery store. They always have one. They have a card which will rack up certain points on your purchases which will lower in-store specials. Make sure you look at the flier and clip the coupons on a weekly basis. They normally come out on a Wednesday in your newspaper, and you can go into the store, and based on your list you can use the coupons to your benefit, and there are significant values there that will result in the lowering of your dollars spent at the grocery store. Make sure that you don't spend money on extraneous items such as magazines, junk food, things of that nature. Always buy nutritious items, and try to buy store brands when you can. They, essentially, are the same as the top brands that are out there. This is Patrick Munro, talking about how to save dollars at the grocery store."
