"Hello, I'm Dr. Loretta Ciraldo, a board certified dermatologist and author of Six Weeks to Sensational Skin. This clip is about Panoxyl acne medicine. And basically you should realize that Panoxyl is a brand name that represents a brand of benzyl peroxide and benzyl peroxide is a very, very effective acne treatment. The Panoxyl brand is available as either a 5% or 10% benzyl peroxide and you'll find that this is very effective at treating the two major kinds of things that we see with acne. One is whiteheads and blackheads and secondly, Panoxyl and other prescription and non-prescription benzyl peroxides will not only help with whiteheads and blackheads but they'll also help with what we dermatologists call the inflammatory lesions of acne, meaning red pimples and cysts. So if you know that you have never had a problem with a benzyl peroxide containing product and it doesn't make you dry or red, then think about getting Panaxyl or another benzyl peroxide for you acne. This is Dr. Loretta Ciraldo."
