Hi, this is Rachael Richardson with Nutrolution Incorporated in South Beach, Florida. In this clip, we're talking about dieting for your blood type. And this is a concept that a man with the last name D'Adamo wrote, and it's Eating Right For Your Blood Type. And, you know, he's not the only one that's explored this philosophy. It's based on, basically, the fact that each blood type comes from a different section of the world, and based on the genetic origins of your ancestors, which also indicates your blood type, that you're best-suited for certain types of foods. So I believe that is actually a good premise. However, in clinical practice, I've found that there's a lot of discrepancies between whether it's really accurate way to diet. So one example is that it's recommended in the blood type diet that coffee is good for certain blood types. And in fact, I've found many people who can't tolerate coffee with that blood type. There's other issues like that, too, that come up, and so I really don't recommend this diet as a basic guideline for you and your nutritional habits. This has been Rachael with Nutrolution in Miami Beach, Florida.
