Hi, I'm Koorosh Angali with angali.com. I'm going to give you some tips as to what we consider contemporary art. Basically the art which was created between eighteen sixties probably to nineteen seventies was considered modern art. Whatever was created after that is either contemporary art or referred to as contemporary art or then later as post modern art. Now, literally when we say contemporary that means it's, it exists at the same time that we exist. At the same time that I am talking to you and I'm talking about an art which exists now and the artist exists now, and it's in the process of being created every moment every minute, that's contemporary. But generally speaking, alternately, modern art is referred to as contemporary art anyway. But more specifically, it probably refers to the art which was created after nineteen seventies, maybe it was the end of nineteen seventies then eighties and nineties and up to this moment.
