This is John Pinelli, Financial Representative, talking to you today about does Medicaid cover mental health care? Medicaid is a government program that you will have to file forms to qualify for. Typically, it is designed to help out those who are not very well financially established, do not have a great deal of assets or income or resources available at their disposal. So qualifying for Medicaid can be somewhat difficult. They do have very, sort of stringent requirements in terms of minimum or maximum incomes that you can have and assets that you can have, as well. So qualifying for Medicaid can be difficult. But they do cover things such as mental health, or any sort of other issues that may arise that would cause a person to need some sort of care that they may not be able to afford. So Medicaid does provide substantial care for individuals who would not, otherwise, be able to afford it, and mental health is one of those that is included in there, depending upon the individual plan or state that would provide the Medicaid. So this has been John Pinelli, Financial Representative, talking to you today about does Medicaid cover mental health?
