As far as performing a bicep curl, with our bicep curl, and what the bicep is, the bicep is the front of our arm. Now a bicep muscle, has two muscles in it. You have a long head, and you have a short head. That's why it's called the bicep muscle. Now when we're performing a bicep curl, you want to sit up here like so, we want to keep our backs straight, we want to keep our chest up, stomach tight, then from here, we're going to curl straight up, bring our hands towards our shoulders. While we're bringing our hands up, while we're in the curling motion, that's when we want to blow our air out. Then we're going to breathe in slow. We don't want to lock our arms out, we want to get them until they're almost straight, and then we're going to come right back up and curl. So it's going to be breathe in when you come down, blow out on the way up, breathe in when you come down, blow out on the way up.
