The way to avoid this is to monitor coupons at thee local grocery store that you choose to work within. And try to manage your shopping trips around the sales that thee store has put out for you. Clipping coupons, although it is a a task that does take time can pay you over the course of the year, thousands of dollars. You could also go on-line and there are coupons out there on-line that'll help you stretch your food dollar even more.
