"Hi, I'm Amelia and I'm here to talk to you about some techniques on styling curly hair. When when styling curly hair you always want to make sure that your foundations is really good. What I mean by that is you want to make sure the hair's really healthy, you also want to make sure that you're using good quality products in it. Curly hair tends to lack moisture where as fine hair tends to lack more proteins, so always use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. I've got a good quality moisturizing shampoo and conditioner right here. So I would use that and I would even leave just a touch of the conditioner in the hair. Another thing you never want to do is you never want to comb or brush curly hair because once you comb or brush it you're really destroying that curl pattern and you're breaking it apart which is what causes frizz. So I would keep a wide tooth comb in the shower and then once you put your conditioner in comb that conditioner threw the hair. Leave a little bit in when you're rinsing your hair. Get out; you want to towel dry just a little bit. You're not going to want to mess it around, you're just going to want to kind of scrunch and squish the water out. Then you're going to apply your styling product. Your styling products should be products that are usually cream based or a light weight gel. Then you're going to apply that in, scrunch the hair. And when you scrunch you really just grab that hair and kind of squish it up like this. You can dry your hair but I don't recommend drying it completely and when you do dry it I recommend using a diffuser or have the setting on very low, and keep that dryer constantly moving. And those are some tips and techniques for taking care of your curly hair."
