"OK, in this segment we're going to discuss connecting to the Internet the traditional way which has been around probably one of the longest ways is through a data fax modem which is an analog modem which is different than digital. And this requires a telephone line in your house, traditional land line and a data fax modem is basically a card that inserts into your PC and then your phone jack plugs into this and your computer plugs into this. So this converts the digital signal from your computer into analog and vice versa so you can send faxes through your computer over the Internet and you can access the world wide web, upload, download, transfer files and so fourth."
