"Now we are going to use mud or our activated charcoal paste to be able to help you to reduce the symptoms of insect bites and poisonous stings. So for example, if you?re out in the woods you are going camping or hiking then you get stung or your bitten by a poisonous snakes or insect bites, then one of the ways you can do it is with mud. I have a clob of mud here, in the bowl, so you would you know your out there and you don't have access to a first aid kit, then what you can do is get some mud, and then you just add some water to it to moisten it up, and then what I'll do is get some water here, and we'll add some water to the mud to make it into a sort of creamy paste, paste like substance, so that you can then apply to the area that was bitten or stung. So here is the mud here. Like that. And what you do is, if I say this was the area on my arm that was stung or bitten, then with the mud thing I can then apply this pasty mud on to the area that was affected. And I?ll wait for it to dry, then you can put a gauze over it or wrap a hankie around the area. You know tape it up so that it allows the mud to dry. And you can leave it on there for about a half an hour or so an hour. And then you can take it off and repeat the process again until you can get antiseptic or get home and you can really clean it out and put antiseptic on it or things like that. But this is a temporary way to be able to help to alleviate some of the systems and relieve the swelling and the pain you from the insect bite or the bee stings or you know the snake bites."
