"On behalf of Expert Village, this is Dan Kelly with Keller Williams Realty here in Miami Shores, Florida. I'm with the Kelly White Team, and today we're going to tell you how to buy a house. The big question is how do I start. Where do I begin my search for my home? First of all, I think it's really important to educate yourself. Read everything you can read. Find out what the market is doing in your location. Here in Miami, we're enjoying a buyer's market so it's a great time for a buyer to find their house at a great price, but you really need to find out what your market is doing. And how do you do that? Call a realtor, look in the paper, the business section, listen to your friends, read the Sunday paper. Find out what's happening; if this is a good time to buy or a bad time to buy. Most places have a real estate company on every corner, so you can go in, pick out some literature, call a mortgage bank. It's very important to find out what the market is doing at this time, and that's where you start your house hunt."
