"Hi, welcome to Expert Village. I'm Gretchen Soares and today we're going to be making a rag blanket. Once we have our rows sewn together we're going to be ready to pin them together to make our entire quilt. So we're going to pin each row together what you need to do is lay open each of these seams so there's two pieces of fabric to this side and two to this side. I just finger press it so that it stays in place and then you're going to match these up seam to seam, flat side to flat side, edges up edges up. Put a pin in the edges so that when we sew it, it doesn't curl back under and make a triangle instead of a square. You're going to do that in each joint. We're going to repeat each procedure for each row of the quilt until we have the quilt completely pinned together. We're going to go ahead and sew our rows together so we got them all pinned together and we're going to let the machine go ahead and sew these pieces together so we have an assembled blanket."
