" Hi! I’m Candi Cane-Canncel on behalf of expertvillage.com. So once you have the entire front and the entire back pinned to the side and bottom piece, the next step is sewing it. And as I said we’re going to be sewing on the outside edge instead of sewing on the wrong and turning inside out, it’ll just look really cool when we’re finally finished. Just about a quarter inch seam allowance on a 3 length stitch…and once you have one side stitched you want to turn around and do the other side the same way. And once you stitched up both sides to your side and bottom piece, because the seams are on the outside you want to go ahead and trim them all the way down, so you’re just going to be leaving about a 1/8 of an inch seam allowance. Okay once you went all the way around and trimmed down your seam allowances you’ll end up with this and of course you could sew it so that the seams are in the inside, but because felt is so bulky it would add this extra bulk that’s why I like to sew it on the outside and plus I think it look really cool.
