Making balloon animals is a fun way to entertain kids of all ages. Balloon animals are made from inflated tubular balloons which are generally more elastic and stretchy than other balloons, and are tied, twisted and sculpted into various animal shapes. Many techniques are employed by balloon twisters, including weaving multiple balloons together to create more complicated forms. This video series will focus on single balloon modeling and some basic animal shapes that can be formed using one balloon.
In these free videos you’ll learn how to make balloon animals from an expert balloon artist. Malik Haddadi demonstrates techniques for making basic animal shapes like a poodle, horse, monkey, swan, moose, rubber duckie, stegosaurus, brontosaurus and more. It’s fairly easy to learn and hours of fun for kids at birthday parties.
This series is an Equilibrio Films production.
"Hi everybody Malik the magic guy with expertvillage.com. I'm going to tell you a little bit more about adding detail to your balloons. One of the easy ways to do that is by making a chains of bubbles. So any chains of bubbles can be lock together with a lock twist. Let me show you. So if you have for instance we have been doing a lock twist with two balloons but I can add three like this and I can lock twist them together. That can make three. We can even if I wanted to I can add lets do one with six cause we are going to do that in a minute with one of the animals. So that is six that you can even lock together in a chain like that. Those are all going to hold there self together because the rubber kind of grips on itself. So that is how you make a chain. This chain of six is actually going to be important later on for some of the other animals we are going to make like the horses and the stegosaurus. So practice that take a few minutes make sure you are familiar with it and once you do that you can watch the rest of the stuff."
