"Ok, so now we have one piece of the piping strip, or the piping casing, pinned to the other strip. Now you know, of course, right sides together, pinned. Start right here in this little area and end right over here in this little area. So, let's just put our foot down right where they meet. And the first thing I'm going to do is go a few stitches, and then backstitch. It's very important on this. Go all the way along. Same distance apart. Maybe like half an inch from the edge. There you go. Let's pull that out. Trim it off. Trim those little threads off. And now that we have that sewn, I'm going to show you, a little bit quicker, how to do the next one. Here we go. The two strips together. Now you want it to look like this. This always helps me just to lay it out and go, "Ok, I want it to look like that." Now, flip it over; right sides together. Then I move it up a little. And I guess, if you wanted to, you could measure it. Maybe about half an inch that you move it over. Now over here it's the same distance. Then let's just pin that right quick. And you remember that we want to go from corner to corner. And make sure that you backstitch. So, backstitch. Let's go all the way to this corner. Now we have both of them sewn, and I think what we're going to do next--we're going to go back over to the ironing board and we're going to press these seams open. And then comes the big part of putting the piping cording inside the casing. But we'll do that later."
