"ERIN KEITH: Hi. I'm Erin and you're watching Expert Village, and today we're going to be working on corrective base makeup. Okay. Now, we are going to start the shading process of the highlighting and shading. And we're going to start with the forehead, the chin, and the nose. So what you want to do here--I have a few colors here on my palette. But, this one is a slightly darker but still--yeah, it's kind of little bit of a reddish tone but also a little bit more yellow in it so this should work quite nicely. So we're going to start by shading the forehead, which meaning by shading the forehead you're just going to go up around the hairline, and I'm going to push this back a little bit just so you're blending in some of your areas here. It's kind of defining the face a little bit more. And also, you can take your blending brush to blend it in with the regular--the rest of the face here so it's not sticking out so far. Why don't you turn this way, there you go. Okay. All right. Okay. We got that. All right. And now, let's see, we're going to go for the jawline. Actually--wait the chin. Excuse me, the chin. All right. The chin looks pretty good. You can go right under here though just to kinda give it a little contour line here. All right. All right. And now for the nose, what I like to do when I contour, I shade the nose 'cause I like to take, like, a softer, maybe squirrel hair, whatever, angular brush here. Dab it in here into your color, and just draw from the brow bone or the brow down the nose into the side, all right? That like so. Okay? All right, and when you do that, you also want to like maybe drag it down from the line. So here, you're contouring the nose a little bit, like I said, again, maybe elonging--elongating it a little bit. All right. Do the other side. It's not a completely dramatic difference but it definitely features the nose a little bit more and also, if you don't want to elongate it too much, you can also add a touch of shade here right under the ball. Okay. And just blend those in. You can take your sponge and do that as well. Okay. So there, we have shaded the chin, the nose, and the forehead."
