"So, next up we're going to talk about anxiety. Now, of course, anxiety, just like any other element, it's a signal from the body, that something's wrong and we need to look at it emotionally but in the meantime, what are the herbs that can calm things down? Well this is a beautiful plant, it's in dry form now but it can grow in your garden, Lemon Balm and also Camomile, if you don't have a ragweed allergy. Both of these can be used by infusion just by putting two teaspoons in water, pouring boiling water over it and the added thing, about having an herb, instead of just taking a pill, is that you get to sit back and just sip and quite down a bit. Now, there are other things you could use, Kava. Now, if you were in the South Pacific, I was in Vanuatu and had a fantastic experience using Kava, being there when they ground up the root and it was quite an experience but you can't really do that here, so they have it in standardized form and you can take the pills. Now, there has been some talk that it's hard on your liver but I really don't think that those studies bore out, in the end. The other is Valerians, you can take a little bit, just a tiny little bit during the day as a natural sedative and that can be very calming, as well. One thing I want to add is it's really important that you have green food and you have Omega three's because all of those are going to act on the pathways so that you could actually feel calm and of course the other things like breathing techniques and just understanding where the anxiety comes from. Sometimes a little anxiety will just kind of get the job done others, when it's too extreme, can go into panic disorders. So, it's just a little bit to tell you about certain things you can start with, to try."
