Diatonic Russian Accordions

"Hi, my name is Paul Becker and I'm here to talk to you about accordions today on behalf of Expert Village. In this segment we will show you a Russian accordion it is pretty interesting. I think this accordion is probably made in the 50s or 60s but it is designed back to the 30s this is a Russian instrument. You can see on the right hand again that it is like 1 roll diatonic single acting. And it has a few chords on the left hand, a few buttons over here. The interesting thing about this accordion is the bells. I kind of think the other neat thing here is the plastic this is from a era wave thinking that plastic is not cheap, not junk but really something beautiful that was not existing in nature but that people could really appreciate.
