Cheekbone Makeup for Sexy Vampire Halloween Makeup

"Hi. This is Melissa Dacher, here with model Susie Chhuor for Expert Village. Today we are going to show you how to do vampire makeup for Halloween. Right now, I'm going to teach you how to contour her cheekbones, doing a highlight at the top. We've already contoured the bottom line and now we are going to add highlight to the top of her cheekbone to accentuate it and make it more prominent. You have the base bone for the cheekbone and what you are going to want to do is highlight right over it. You take your application sponge and dip it in the highlighter. What the highlighter does is it lightens the skin pigment around the areas of the face that are usually in shadow. It makes them stand out more. It could be blush if you'd like, just so long as it's a light and shimmery shade. Try to avoid pinks and peaches because we are going for a morbid look to make it look like it is drained of color instead of having color. What you are going to do is just apply like I'm doing the highlight to the very ridge of the cheekbone and then just blend it out. Blend downward into the rest of the cheek. You can either go heavy with the highlight or go really light. I would probably go really light in this instance because you want the face to look really, really pale and the cheekbones to just pop out even more. The more highlight you use, the more accentuated the cheekbone is going to be. And you just blend it downward to the rest of the cheek."
