How to Dress for a Zombie Costume

"Hello! I'm Matt Cail on behalf of Expert Village. I'm here today to show you how to make a zombie costume. Alright, now that we've prepped our clothing, the next step is to get a volunteer and put the clothing on. Once you put the clothing on, look at how it's hanging on yourself. You can see at the wrists here what we've razor bladed again, to get sort of a frayed looked to the clothing that the zombie's going to be wearing. We've done this on both wrists. We've also done it around the collar. Now, the look you're going for may not look quite right the first time out. If this is the case and you see you may want to make a couple more slashes or open up the clothing differently to get the decaying effect. Take the clothing off and repeat the steps we've already discussed with the razor blade. Repeat this until you're satisfied with the zombie look, with the zombie attire that is. Now, the next thing is once you've put on the clothing, we can see the real work that we have in front of us. You can see that the hands and the face are flesh colored. These are going to be the areas we're going to be focusing our makeup attention efforts on. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter if you're just wearing the zombie clothes, you have too look the part. No matter what thrift shop you go to, you're going to need to actually add in some makeup on top of the best clothing you find for your zombie."
