"I'm Meagan Burroughs. We're going to be going over spins. The first spin that normally every Pole Dancer learns is their Fireman. This is a very common spin that was probably done on the playground, when you were five or six years old. Didn't even know you were doing it. You'll start with the swoop that we learned earlier. So, you're going to step, you're going to swoop, and then halfway through your swoop, you are going to grab the pole with your knee. So, you'll come to here, and then after that, you're going to reach high on the pole, bring your back foot up, so the front of your ankle is touching the pole. So, it will look like this. And you can go all the way to the ground, or you can just stand out of it. That can be done one handed, or two handed. I'll demonstrate one handed. The next one that you're going to learn is called the Martini. It's in the same family as the Fireman. It's very easy. Step your inside foot, swoop that outside foot, grab with your knee. Allow your body to untwist, just slightly. You're going to reach high, and bring your leg up. Point your toe. Really flex that leg. And you're going to do that while spinning, so it will look like this. Again, you can go down to the floor or you can stand right out of it. And that's the Martini."
