on 5/11/2009 I agree with mc, you got a strong punch.

I think that you should also show to the foot rotate, it raise not only rotate your hips.

" The right cross is the most powerful punch when thrown correctly. I’m going to show you how to properly throw the right cross, and this punch can follow your jab or you can do a lead hand right when you can just throw it by itself. But first let me show you how to throw a proper right hand. The technique is, you get in your stance again, your proper stance, you remember give me an angle, as much angle as you can. Your foot slightly on your toes, the back foot, your hands always protecting your face and your body. So that any body shots I’m right here, face I’m right here. From here, the right, you’re going to let it go and you’re going to start turning your body, you’re going to, this is a waist turn, that’s why it’s a power punch because you start from the ground up. It starts with your back pivot foot, to your waist, to your shoulder all the way to your wrist and then you snap. That’s where the cork scratching comes in. so, from right here, you’re going to go ahead and start releasing it, you’re going to start turning your body with your foot, you’re going to get that little cork action, you’re going to start releasing it, and it’s the same thing. At the end, you’re going to snap so your shoulder can be covering your chin, so you can protect your chin, you’re going to snap it over, and you’re going to bring it back. Now two things, you have to bring it right back, you can’t leave it there or you can’t bring it back dropping it because a good boxer is going to counter punch you and he is going to catch you. So you have to throw it, you have to bring it right back. Secondly, very important about your right – do not telegraph your right. And what I mean by that is do not give any physical cues that you are going to throw a right hand. So from right here, from your comfort zone, it’s got to just be released with out any movement, any hesitation, without any moving. Just right here, it’s going to come out and you’re going to bring it right back. Now let me show you a full speed demonstration on how to throw the right hand. Remember always use your gloves; a good boxer always protects his hands. Just to show you how to throw the right, and again the same thing, you’re going to go ahead…c’mon. Remember your stance, you always cover your face and your body and from right here you’re going to release and notice how I turn, give me more this side, so I can show this side, cork and release. You’re going to bring it back, notice my shoulder is tucked in, it tucks in my chin, and that’s how you throw the perfect right. And to do it full speed you’re going to go… and that’s how you throw a right cross. "
