"Hi! I'm Liz with Studio Soiree and on behalf of expertvillage.com, I'd like to show you the pirouette today. The pirouette starts standard like any dance move, but you're pirouetting with the pole as you dance partner. A pirouette is simply turning underneath your armpit, gaging your body, taking one step forward, planting that foot, bending it, extending the other, slipping underneath your arm until your back is facing the pole. I'll show that again. We're just taking one step here, extending this leg, around you go, and park our shoulders here on the pole at the side. After you've gone and done your pirouette, with your back facing this, there's different things you can do with your body. Here I'm going to take you into the Madonna. We're going to take one leg, extend it to the side, pivot, other leg extended to the side, and squat down. Then you want to push back up using your body strength. Bring in each foot. A walking pirouette one more time for you."
